Network infrastructure for Educational Service Center (ESC) Region 6 – Huntsville, TX
Our Client
The mission of Region 6 Educational Service Center in Huntsville, Texas, is to empower the educational community to achieve excellence. They provide services that were developed at the request of educators who help students succeed in the local communities they serve.

Project: Network Design, Installation, & Maintenance
JTS designed, installed, and provides ongoing maintenance for a turn-key licensed microwave ring across 9 school districts within ESC Region VI, in conjunction with BVCNet.
The network spanned across Walker, Grimes, Washington, Burleson, Milam, and Robertson counties. Included in this project was the construction of self-supporting towers and the deployment of WiMAX networks for the various ISDs.

Network infrastructure for Early Independent School District – Early, TX
Our Client
Early Independent School District’s mission is to maintain and grow a rigorous teaching and learning environment that provides every student with a sense of belonging while helping students grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
Location
Early, Texas
Project: Network Design, Installation, & Maintenance
JTS designed and installed a wall-bracketed tower for the school district and installed an unlicensed 60 GHz millimeter-wave link between their High School and Elementary School to provide high-speed gigabit connectivity between facilities.
Six years later, JTS replaced this link with an 80 GHz licensed E-band link, with a throughput of up to 2 Gigabit. JTS continues to provide ongoing maintenance for the school district as needed.
